Surreal Symphony: Masks, Music, and Meaning is a collective art project
that invites individuals of all ages and backgrounds to explore our innate
need for narratives.

‘When The Entertainers Came To Town’ celebrates the history of entertainment in Scarborough. Display panels featuring maps, postcards, and memorabilia chart the growth of music halls, dance halls, theatres and cinemas following the towns rapid expansion as a holiday destination following the arrival of the railway.

The Old Parcels Office is delighted to be hosting Scarborough Sixth Form College Creatives end of year show. This is a unique chance to see the amazing work by Scarboroughs next generation of artists and creatives.

Soul of Fire comprises a film trilogy that explores the materiality and politics of charcoal as a vehicle for considering the intersections of race, climate change, landscapes, and history. Saturday 27th May – Sunday 11th June 2023. Gallery Open: Thur – Sun 11am-4pm. Admission Free

In response to requests we are holding a small scale Xmas Art & Craft Fair. It will run alongside the OPO Exhibition in the main room and Artists Open Studios. Event opening times – Saturday 26th Nov – 10.30am – 4.00pm
Prized – features work by six early-career artists selected from Open Artspace 2022, the first open exhibition held at the Old Parcels Office. We are hosting a Creative Gender Identity Workshop on Saturday 13th August at the Old Parcels Office at Scarborough Railway Station. Come and explore with us the differences between gender and sex, examples of how to use gender-inclusive language, and how to make spaces more welcoming and safe for trans and non-binary people.
