Sunday Best Parade

As part of the Scarborough 400 celebrations, we invite you to step back in time and take part in a special Sunday Promenade on Scarborough’s historic South Cliff.

Advance registration is essential for this unique community event, and all participants are encouraged to dress in Victorian or Edwardian-style costume to help recreate the elegance and spectacle of a traditional seaside promenade.

Gather outside the Beeforth’s Hive on the Esplanade at 11am, before making your way -by whatever route you choose – through South Cliff Gardens and down to Scarborough Spa (route maps will b e provided).

A group photograph will be taken in the Italian Gardens at approximately 11:15am, capturing the colour and spirit of the occasion. On arrival at the Spa, participants will be welcomed with a traditional glass of lemon barley water in the Platinum Lounge.

Tickets include a commemorative booklet, refreshments, and a free ride on Central Tramway
