A free mindful photography workshop in response to the current exhibition at the Old Parcels Office Artspace, “Surroundings”
About this event
Mindful photography puts its emphasis on the act of taking a photograph as a means to slowing down and really noticing and connecting with our immediate surroundings.
In this workshop we will explore the building of the Old Parcels Office and surrounding area , focusing on the details that come to our attention, as a response to the work on show in the current exhibition “Surroundings”.
There is no need for any photographic knowledge other than being able to operate your digital camera, which can just be your mobile phone.
This activity is free and is aimed at adults. It will be led by Jacqui Barrowcliffe, resident artist at the Old Parcels Office. More information on Mindful photography and Jacqui’s practice can be found here.
